At this year's Chillventa exhibition,KRIWAN Industrie-Elektronik is celebrating the company's founding four decades ago.
From day one, innovative technological development has been at the top of the agenda. A first compressor protection unit called INT69 was "born" in 1969. From then on the product portfolio has been expanded continuously. Research and development soon focused on the goal to change from passive to active compressor protection. With the INT69 E + Y compressor protection platform, the experts in Forchtenberg took a large step towards achieving this goal. At the Chillventa the latest milestones in compressor management are the INT275 – 278 family of level monitoring devices and the INT280 oil level regulator.
Having started out in a small workshop, the company now has become one of the famous "hidden champions" with worldwide customer support.
1997 saw the founding of the KRIWAN Test Centre as a subsidiary service provider for qualified product testing. Now the Test Centre is a completely autonomous, independent institution.
In all product areas, long-standing customer relations form the basis for the mutual success of the company and its customers. Customers have always been partners in the innovation process, and their needs are the standard in product development: "We have grown not only with the markets and their challenges", says Jens Peter Huischen, CEO of the KRIWAN Group. "We consider the long-standing trust of our customers a mark of excellence", Jens Peter Huischen points out. "The markets have seen a lot of change over the past 40 years. Globalisation makes business faster and reduces long-term predictability. In these conditions, we offer our customers continuity."
