• Application

  Thermal protection of electric machines. The PT100 screw-in sensor is used for measuring the temperature in electric machines and has been specifically designed for thermal protection of machines in conjunction with KRIWAN motor protectors.

• Functional description

  The PT100 is screwed into the motor housing. If the temperature increases, the PTC100 becomes highly resistive and, in conjunction with a KRIWAN motor protector, switches off the motor when the rated shut-off temperature (NAT) is reached.
